STAN zetelt in de Vlaamse Stuurgroep Welzijn-Bewindvoering. Daar kwamen een aantal belangrijke problemen aan bod die familiale bewindvoerders en in het bijzonder ouders-bewindvoerders, ervaren. We stuurden daarom een open brief naar alle betrokkenen binnen het beleid met de dringende vraag om deze ouders-bewindvoerders niet in de kou te laten staan en een aantal administratief ingewikkelde drempels weg te halen.
Open brief in het belang van ouders-bewindvoerders
In deze open brief worden een aantal pijnpunten aangekaart die familiale bewindvoerders en ouders-bewindvoerders in het bijzonder ervaren:
1. Het weinig toepassen door vrederechters van de wettelijke mogelijkheid om ouders-bewindvoerders een vereenvoudigd jaarverslag te laten neerleggen.
2. Het niet aangepast zijn van het CRBP om digitaal een vereenvoudigd jaarverslag te kunnen invoeren.
3. Een veelvoorkomende onduidelijkheid rond de keuzevrijheid voor familiale bewindvoerders, waaronder ouders-bewindvoerders, om het jaarverslag op papier dan wel elektronisch via het CRBP neer te leggen.
