Op dat moment konden ze er op rekenen dat het Persoonsvolgend Budget werd aangepast aan de meervraag. Dit automatisme verdween dus in juni 2020.
Wie nu extra ondersteuning nodig heeft, kan die nog aanvragen via de procedure voor een herziening en zo een meervraag stellen. Maar voor die meervraag kom je in de wachtrij van het VAPH terecht (die nu gemiddeld 3 jaar duurt). 3 jaar wachten op een aanpassing van het budget is voor veel ouders/netwerk (die hier nu nood aan hebben) een veel te lange periode.
Vandaar dat het idee ontstond met het COO (het Collectief Overlegorgaan) om een briefschrijfactie op te zetten.
Hieronder kunnen jullie 3 brieven terugvinden (eentje voor ouders en eentje voor broers en zussen en eentje voor belangenbehartigers). Het is de bedoeling om zoveel mogelijk mensen te mobiliseren om de brief in hun naam te ondertekenen.
Wil je graag mee je stem laten horen voor een rechtvaardig beleid, dan mag je een brief ondertekenen (ouders mogen elk apart eentje ondertekenen en jullie kunnen ook de broers of zussen van jullie zoon/dochter motiveren om ook een brief te ondertekenen). Het is de bedoeling om zoveel mogelijk brieven te verzamelen die dan persoonlijk overhandigd zouden worden door een delegatie van gebruikers aan Minister Beke. Hiertoe wordt een afspraak op het kabinet gemaakt eind juni.

Beste, woon sinds 3 weken in Vleterwonen en doordat sommige Vzw's een groot gedeelte van mijn budget hebben opgenomen via voucher, moet ik dus helaas wachten om hier begeleiding te hebben alsook naar het dagcentrum van Dominiek Savio op te starten. Kan waarschijnlijk pas vanaf begin september. Voor mij is dit heel lastig omdat ik nu geholpen wil worden. Door afschaffing van BOB (Basis OndersteuningsBudget) zit ik helaas compleet vast. Verleden jaar verhuist. Dag erna ziek geworden. Twee weken in mijn bed gelegen. En dan ineens eerste complete lock-down. Wil nu eens eindelijk met onmiddellijke ingang, vooruitzichten. Heb een niet-aangeboren hersenletsel en doordat de wetten van vaph constant veranderen, is dit heel lastig om nog te volgen. Sinds de invoering van persoonsvolgende financiering, zijn er heel veel mensen die constant uit de boot vallen.
