Waar vind ik leuke activiteiten?

Er zijn veel mogelijkheden op het gebied van vrijetijdsbesteding. Sommigen zijn specifiek voor personen met een handicap, anderen zijn inclusief. STAN geeft een aantal tips.

De verschillende groepen van Trefpunt Stan organiseren een uitgebreid aanbod aan activiteiten, van dansnamiddagen tot sportactiviteiten en theaterateliers. Ook vakantiereizen en uitstapjes komen aan bod. Als lid kom je in aanmerking voor aantrekkelijke voordelen. Activiteiten in je buurt kun je hier vinden.

Een spelotheek is een beetje hetzelfde idee als een bibliotheek, maar dan gericht op spelen in plaats van lezen. Hier vind je aangepast spelmateriaal, zowel voor kinderen als volwassenen. Ben je op zoek naar een toffe sportclub, neem dan eens een kijkje op de website van G-sport Vlaanderen. Hier kun je zoeken naar een geschikte club bij jou in de buurt.

Liever een jeugdbeweging? Akabe is scouting voor kinderen en jongeren met een beperking. Een andere jeugdbeweging is de Chiro waar veel aandacht is voor diversiteit en inclusie.

Speelpleinwerk biedt kinderen toffe speelkansen in hun vrije tijd. Het is er voor alle kinderen, ongeacht of ze een beperking hebben, uit een ander land komen of uit een kwetsbare omgeving.
