'Dag Ma' vertelt het unieke verhaal van Irène (102) en haar dochter Yvette (67) die samen wonen en leven in een woonzorgcentrum te Lier. Yvette, die een mentale beperking heeft, leert omgaan met haar mama die ouder wordt en steeds meer zorg nodig heeft. Het is een tijdloos verhaal over moederliefde en afscheid nemen.
Momenteel reist de film doorheen het (inter)nationale festival parcours. Dag Ma mocht de prijs van Beste Nationale Documentaire ontvangen op Docville 2023 en bevond zich op de longlist van de Berlinale 2023. Je kan de film nu ook tot 18 januari bekijken op vrt max via deze link.
